A Netizen Sirius Santos Complains Mischief Unmanaged Of Popular Fast-Food Chain
A netizen named Sirius Santos has complained about the mischief unmanaged of a popular fast-food chain in the Philippines.
On Monday evening (May 15, 2017), Sirius Santos went to Kuya J Restaurant-Otis, Manila for dinner when one of the security guards leads them to park to a different spot, instead of parking at the restaurant’s entrance.
A few moments later, the security guard told them that the right side window of their car has been smashed and they have noticed that the beige shoulder bag of his sister containing valuables was missing.
The shoulder bag contains a Sony Experia Z3 worth P34, 000, a hot pink leather wallet containing P2, 000, Union Bank ATM Card, Golden Arches Dev’t Corp company identification card and Phil health Identification Card, Black t-shirt, Shade, Enfa Mama milk (1kg), and assorted pregnancy medicine.
Santos asked the guard when he was when the incident happened and the guard replied he was in the restroom. His brother talked to the restaurant’s management then agreed to shoulder the repair of car’s window and pay the total amount of the stolen valuables.
He also reported the incident to the police station for documentation. The restaurant has no CCTV and the security along the vicinity was not that tight that this type of incident happened, which could be possibly prevented if the security is tight.
Kuya J’s management asked them to come back the next day for the arrangement. On Tuesday (May 16, 2017), Santos together with his brother and pregnant sister went to the restaurant then talked to the assistant manager in charge, but she endorsed to the Security Officer of the security agency.
The restaurant’s management doesn’t want to be liable for the loss and damage. The security agency told them that the security guard in charge that night will cover all the losses, so he doubted how the guard could pay such a big amount immediately.
Santos presented a document in writing asking the guard to give a specific day of payment, but the guard refused to sign for he can’t assure him that can pay the losses. The guard also ensures him that the agency will do something about it.
Sirius talked again with the assistant manager, but seems she was neglecting Santos. He decided to talk to the operation manager and had a heated argument. He asked for requested agreement document, but the management makes them wait for nothing.
On Wednesday (May 17, 2017), Santos did not attend the meeting and let his brother and sister finalize everything, but then the management denied everything that they have discussed during the previous days.
