Concerned Netizen Seeks Help From Muntinlupa LGU for Bereaved Family Grieving Loss of Loved One
A concerned resident has called on the local government of Muntinlupa to extend assistance to a family in their community that is grieving the loss of a loved one.
Racso Masong Iliharap, a Facebook user, shared an appeal to get support for the bereaved family. The post quickly gained attention on social media and earned mixed reactions from netizens.
According to Iliharap, the family has been struggling to find help while preparing for the wake and burial of their departed relative. He explained that some forms of assistance were reportedly difficult to obtain because of the ongoing election ban, leaving the family with limited options during a difficult time.
As the president of their community in Acacia Compound, Putatan, Iliharap expressed sadness over the situation. He said it was painful to see a family facing the emotional burden of losing a loved one while also worrying about the lack of resources and support available to them.
He shared that even simple items such as tents, tables, coffee, or other basic necessities for the wake would be a great help. These items are often needed during funeral gatherings, especially for families who may not have enough financial resources to cover all expenses.
Iliharap also acknowledged the assistance already provided by Barangay Captain Gerry Teves. According to him, the barangay responded quickly to their request and was able to offer some support.
