Seven Grade 5 Pupils Injured in School Stabbing Incident
A grade 8 student injures several grade 5 students in a stabbing incident inside their classroom in General Trias City, Cavite.
Around 8:30 a.m, the victims, aged 10 to 11 years old, were inside their classroom at Bethel Academy School in Barangay Sta. Clara, when a 14-year-old Grade 8 student suddenly entered and attacked them with a knife.
Witnesses said the teenager first arrived at her own classroom on the second floor and briefly left her school bag there. She then quickly went down to the ground floor and entered the classroom where the victims were gathered.

After a few moments, chaos erupted as the students were attacked without warning.
The young victims were unable to escape as the incident unfolded. The classroom quickly became a scene of panic, with students and school personnel rushing to respond. Blood was seen inside the room as teachers and other staff members tried to help the injured children.
All seven victims were immediately brought to a hospital for treatment. Reports said that two of the injured pupils were initially in critical condition and required urgent medical attention.

The female student involved in the attack was later taken into the custody of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD). Authorities confirmed that she was a transferee from another school.
Police initially looked into reports suggesting that bullying may have played a role in the incident. Some information claimed that the suspect may have been upset over the alleged bullying of her sibling.

However, police officials later clarified that there was no evidence linking the attack to bullying or gang-related conflicts. Investigators said the suspect was believed to be dealing with personal issues.
Authorities continue to investigate the incident to determine the full circumstances behind the attack.
