Matty Juniosa Makes History W/ Back-to-Back Golden Buzzer on Britain’s Got Talent
MATTY JUNIOSA – Filipino pride continues to shine as Matty Juniosa once again wows the global stage with a breathtaking performance.
Filipino singer Matty Juniosa has once again captured international attention after earning his second Golden Buzzer on the hit talent show Britain’s Got Talent Season 19, securing a direct spot in the finals.
The rising star delivered a powerful performance of the classic hit Dream On by Aerosmith, leaving both the audience and judges in awe. For the second time in the competition, Matty received the coveted Golden Buzzer, a rare achievement that highlights his undeniable talent and stage presence.
His performance earned a literal standing ovation from the entire audience, while the judges could not hold back their admiration. Judge Alesha Dixon expressed her amazement, saying, “I don’t even know what to say. You are just effortlessly sensational!”
He added, “Singing just pulls out of you so easily; those high notes are just so sweet. And it’s so lovely to sit back, relax, and enjoy the show, that’s so stellar, a masterclass performance of how to deliver a Class A vocal.”
The crowd erupted into cheers, encouraging Amanda Holden to press the Golden Buzzer. She eventually gave in to the overwhelming support, sending Matty straight through to the finals and sparking pure joy on stage.
Following this, judge Simon Cowell also praised the Filipino singer, stating, “Alesha summed it up when she said it was a masterclass. That is what it’s all about.”
He said, “Great song, your range is incredible. And you are the sweetest person, I’m so happy for you. Two Golden Buzzers, that’s not bad, right?”
With his second Golden Buzzer, Matty advances directly to the finals, where the results will be determined through a combination of judges’ scores and audience votes.
It can be recalled that Matty’s first Golden Buzzer came from Simon Cowell during his audition, where he performed Purple Rain by Prince.
Before making waves on the international stage, Matty first gained recognition in the Philippines after joining Idol Philippines Season 1, where he finished as a Top 12 finalist.
