When his issue with her parents surfaced, especially with her Mommy Divine, Sarah Geronimo received support from her fans.
However, just recently, Sarah received negative reactions on social media because of what she said during her speech at the Earth Day Run 2026 – Manila Leg, which was held at SM Mall of Asia, Pasay City, on Sunday, April 19, 2026.
Netizen @Elegant_Grapefruit64 shared on Reddit r/Pinoy Celebs a clip of Sarah’s speech. She thanked everyone who attended the event and expressed that she hoped to perform for them next time.
Before ending her speech, the singer-actress said, “Maraming salamat po. Iboto niyo po ako sa susunod na eleksyon. Thank you po,” Sarah said.
The netizen who uploaded the clip wrote this in the caption: “Sarah Geronimo DDS? Ang random ng pag campaign ah.”
For some, this was just a mockery, as Vice President Sara Duterte has already declared her aspiration to run for president in the 2028 elections.
However, some netizens pointed out that there was no joke in that as they believed that, just like her husband actor-host Matteo Guidicelli, Sarah is also allegedly a “DDS.” Here are some comments.
