How true is this accusation against Mark Alcala?
An accusation against Lucena City Mayor Mark Alcala, the rumored boyfriend of Asia’s Superstar Kathryn Bernardo, surfaced on social media.
Mayor Mark’s popularity on social media skyrocketed when he was linked to Kathryn, who is considered as one of the brightest stars of her generation. Despite the recent sightings of them, holding each other’s hands during their Thailand vacation, no formal statement yet has been released from both camps.
Even though his popularity rose, this was not about good reasons because the politician also received bashing. Previously, he was accused of corruption and spending time with Kathryn at a mall on a weekday.
A resident of Lucena City even called out the Mayor regarding a street without street lights, which could be a danger to motorists and commuters at night.
He also received criticism when it was rumored that he took a leave of absence for two weeks, and it wsa allegedly because of a vacation for Kathryn’s birthday week.
A recent post on Reddit, showed a video of Mayor Mark Alcala and Kathryn Bernardo talking, while standing beside each other. The uploader did not reveal when and where the video was taken.
“Check nyo lang FB ni mayor. Kung kelan nya suot yan ngayong week na to. SHAME THE CORRUPT! SHAME THE CORRUPT ENABLER!” the netizen wrote in the caption of the post.
