Sen. Bong Go Visits Kitty Duterte in the Hospital on her Birthday
KITTY DUTERTE – The youngest daughter of former President Rodrigo Roa Duterte celebrated her birthday in hospital as she’s confined.
Today, Kitty is celebrating her second birthday away from former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte who remains detained under the custody of the International Criminal Court in The Hague, Netherlands. It was in March 2025 when the former Chief Executive was arrested by the police authorities upon his arrival from Hong Kong.
Following his arrest last March 11, 2025, former Pres. Rodrigo Duterte was detained for several hours at the Villamor Air Base. The unexpected turn of events brought massive criticisms towards the Marcos Jr. administration.
Only Kitty Duterte and her mother and former Pres. Rodrigo Duterte’s common-law wife, Honeylet Avancena, were with the former Chief Executive when he was detained. They waited for Vice Pres. Sara Duterte but the former President was allegedly forced to get into the plane even before his daughter will arrive at Villamor.
Davao City Congressman Paolo Duterte, Vice Pres. Sara Duterte, Davao Mayor Baste Duterte, and Kitty Duterte were taken turns in visiting former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte inside the ICC detention facility in The Hague, Netherlands. It was only once when the Duterte siblings were allowed to visit the former President altogether inside the ICC detention center.
As Kitty Duterte celebrated her birthday at an undisclosed hospital where she was confined, Senator Christopher Bong Go visited former Pres. Rodrigo Duterte’s daughter. The Senator is one of the godfathers of Kitty.
Sen. Bong Go is a long-time aide of former Pres. Rodrigo Duterte before he ran for a seat in the Senate during his tenure as president in 2019. The Senator even brought his goddaughter a fruit basket and a birthday gift at the hospital.
Based on a post on social media, Sen. Bong Go also thanked Board Member Vic Singson who is the rumored boyfriend of Kitty for taking care of his goddaughter. He also thanked all the friends of Kitty who came to visit her. It was not mentioned why she’s confined in the hospital.
In March, the former President also celebrated his 81st birthday. Kitty Duterte penned a heartfelt birthday message for former Pres. Rodrigo Duterte then.
