In a post, Shuvee Etrata paid tribute to the iconic House of Kuya.
As the PBB house moves to a new location, Kapuso actress Shuvee Etrata shares how the iconic house changed her life.
The iconic Pinoy Big Brother house in Quezon City is closing down, but the PBB house will be relocated to continue to change more lives. Among the housemates whose lives changed in many ways was Shuvee Etrata.
She was a part of “Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition,” and after she got evicted from the house, she was filled with happiness and gratitude for “living the dream.” Opportunities and projects poured in, and she is reaping the fruits of her hard work. She is building a new family house as a result of her rise in popularity.
As the show closed a chapter, Shuvee took to Instagram to pay tribute to the house and show that changed her life. She wrote, “This house wasn’t just a house for me — it opened doors I never thought would open. Diri ko nakarealize nga kaya diay nako, one step at a time.”
More than being a physical place, the PBB house became her turning point in her life. It gave her opportunities she never imagined she would have. In that place, she was able to prove to herself that she is capable of achieving her goals, as long as she takes things step by step.
She reflected on growth, self-discovery, and gratitude for a place that helped shape her journey.
Meanwhile, the PBB house was built in 2005 and completed in just three months. It spans 1,400 square meters and cost around PHP 15 million at the time.
Its original layout included two bedrooms, one bathroom, a garden, and a pool, along with 26 cameras operating 24/7. According to the contractor, the house was only meant to last five years, but it remarkably stood strong for 21 years.
