Emma Tiglao Rants Against Waiter Who Said “Ang kapal ng mukha”

Emma Tiglao shared her recent unpleasant experience in a restaurant

Miss Grand International 2025 Emma Tiglao ranted on Facebook because of her experience with a waiter at a seafood restaurant where she and her family recently ate.

Emma is more than just a beauty queen because she is also a model, journalist, news anchor, and television presenter. With this, she is known for being prim and proper and someone who knows how to interact with other people publicly.

However, her Facebook post on Saturday, March 14, showed that she experienced rudeness. She shared that he and his family went to have lunch at the Crabs N Crack Infinity branch.

Emma Tiglao said, “I don’t usually rant online, but I believe this experience is worth sharing so others can be aware and hopefully so we can all learn from it.”

According to her, she and her family love seafood, so they were excited to try their ordered Bundle A and B with chili garlic, Cajun, and butter garlic sauce.

However, when their food arrived, they noticed that the sauce did not match what they ordered. Instead of chili garlic, two Cajun and one butter garlic were allegedly served at their table.

The beauty queen said that they properly informed the staff about the mistake, but they were told that it could not be replaced because the food had already been prepared. To avoid further escalation, they simply asked if they could be given some chili garlic sauce as a replacement.

According to Emma, the staff acknowledged the mistake and gave them chili garlic sauce as a complimentary, which they were grateful for.

However, as they were preparing the remaining food for takeout, she heard the waiter who took their order say the words “ang kapal ng mukha.”

Because of this, Emma said that she was very shocked by what she heard. Even though she did not like to argue, she believes that it is important to maintain respect in any situation.

However, while we were preparing to have the food packed for takeout, the waiter who handled our order said, ‘ANG KAPAL NG MUKHA.’ In that moment, my heart started racing, and my hands turned cold. I’m not someone who looks for conflict, but I also believe that respect should never be optional,” she said.

As a businesswoman herself, Emma Tiglao shared that she always reminds her staff to be polite and professional with customers, no matter how busy or difficult their work is.

In a message to the waiter, she said that she hoped the incident would serve as a lesson not only for the employee in question but for everyone in the service industry. She added that as a customer, no one would want to experience that kind of treatment.

Despite the incident, Emma shared that the restaurant’s assistant manager apologized for the waiter’s behavior, which she appreciated. “Let’s all choose patience, kindness, and respect in every interaction,” the beauty queen said.
