Viral Gas Station Crew Turns Out to Be Cum Laude Graduate
The gas station crew member who went viral after explaining the increase in petroleum prices turned out to be a Cum Laude graduate.
Recently, Atty. Alman-Najar Namla, a Facebook user, shared that the gas station crew who went viral for explaining why petroleum prices increased is actually a Cum Laude graduate. The revelation drew various reactions from the online community.
The man in the viral video was identified as Alkindar “Khinz” J. Amil. In the video, he was seen calmly explaining to a motorist why fuel prices had gone up. Instead of giving a short and simple answer, he explained the issue in a clear and organized way that impressed many viewers.
While wearing his gas station uniform, Amil talked about several factors that affect the price of fuel. He mentioned global crude oil prices, international events that influence supply, and how the value of foreign currencies can affect petroleum products in the Philippines.
Many viewers were surprised by how confidently and clearly he explained the topic. People praised him for his knowledge and the respectful way he answered the question.
Eventually, more details about Amil’s background came out. He studied at Tanjung Elementary School where he finished among the top students in his batch. He continued to excel in high school at Jolo School of Fisheries, again ranking among the top of his class.
Amil later graduated from Mindanao State University in Sulu in 2016 with the honor of Cum Laude. His academic achievements surprised many people who only saw him working as a pump attendant at a gas station in Zamboanga City.
Despite his achievements, Amil continues to serve customers with humility while proudly doing his work.
