Lorna Tolentino talked about Donny Pangilinan
Award-winning veteran actress Lorna Tolentino revealed something about Kapamilya heartthrob Donny Pangilinan.
Donny is one of the most in-demand actors of ABS-CBN nowadays. His loveteam partnership with actress Belle Mariano, known as DonBelle, was a big hit. Just recently, it was confirmed that Donny and Belle will have a new movie together.
This brought excitement to their fans, who have been anticipating a new project from them. For quite a while, the loveteam partners took separate projects.
One of the most recent projects that Donny Pangilinan was in was the Kapamilya action-packed series “Roja,” which will end this week.
During the finale press conference of the teleserye held last Friday, March 6, Lorna Tolentino had nothing but good words for Donny. She said that the young actor proved to everyone that he is worthy of the project.
She said that Donny gave his 100 percent in every scene he plays in the series, especially the intense, dramatic, and life-changing action scenes. “Yung intensity ng development niya as a performer, makita mo ang laki ng itinaas. I’m so happy nakasama ko si Donny,” the veteran actress said.
In the series, Donny and Lorna, as well as another star of the series, Kyle Echarri, promised that viewers will be treated to more explosions and plot twists in the final week of “Roja.”
“Napakaraming nangyari sa lahat ng characters namin. Napakaraming sugar, blood, sweat and tears. Nakaka-proud lang,” Kyle shared. Donny added that the intensity in the series is still there, and the question would always linger whether the character will die or escape.
In the finale week of “Roja,” Donny and Kyle are ready to face their final confrontation with hostage-takers led by Emil (Joel Torre) with action. If the action is explosive, the emotional scenes in the series are also explosive as Olsen (Kyle) discovers his father’s true identity, along with Liam’s (Donny) difficult decision to surrender his mother, Greta (Lorna Tolentino), to the police after she is proven to be the mastermind of the hostage-taking.
