Kapamilya actress Anne Curtis experienced a flight diversion on March 1, 2026, while traveling from Milan to Dubai due to the tensions in the Middle East.
Anne has been traveling a lot these past years because of her stints in the international fashion scene. The actress is one of the Filipino celebrities frequently spotted in fashion shows and events abroad.
Over the years, Anne, known as one of the OG “It Girls,” has been partnering with luxury and high-end fashion brands. Through her stint in the fashion industry, she was able to meet South Korean superstar Song Hye Kyo, and they even became friends, exchanging comments on social media.
Just recently, Anne Curtis went to Milan. She was invited by the luxury brand Gucci to join a fashion event. The Kapamilya posted about this on her Instagram page.
After that momentous event, she was supposed to go to Dubai to meet her little family, but her flight was diverted. On her Instagram story, the It’s Showtime host shared a video showing that during her flight, she noticed a high-speed jet flying beside their plane.
Then, she noticed another, and after that, it was announced to the passengers that they would be turning around to go back to Mila due to airstrikes. “All flights to the Middle East have been grounded,” she shared.
Anne also said that she prayed for all the families in Dubai and her “kababayans,” hoping that everyone is safe and things will soon ease. The celebrity mom also shared a video from her husband, content creator Erwan Heussaff.
It was a video of their daughter Dahlia, who was watching a group of fish inside a huge aquarium. “Stay safe my little one,” Anne Curtis wrote in the caption of her post.
