Barbie Forteza talked about Heart’s Day
Kapuso Primetime Princess Barbie Forteza shared that she enjoyed her solo Valentine’s Day celebration.
Barbie has been single for a year now. To recall, she confirmed her breakup with actor Jak Roberto, who was her boyfriend for seven years, early last year. Even though they were no longer together, their breakup did not went controversial as Barbie chose not to speak ill of her ex-boyfriend.
In past interviews, she even mentioned that their breakup was not that painful. When they met at the GMA event last year, they had a friendly greeting. Even though Barbie was linked to her onscreen partners, Pambansang Ginoo David Licauco and Kapamilya actor Jameson Blake, she remained single.
During Valentine’s Day last week, Barbie Forteza shared that she had a solo celebration, based on the article in GMA Entertainment. She intended this day for herself.
The actress had her solo date. “Nag-movie date ako, nag-cafe date ako, nag-fancy dinner date ako, and then come Sunday morning, tumakbo ako,” the Kapuso Primetime Princess shared.
For her, there is no need to be sad being single and not having a special someone. The actress stressed the value of self-love. “Every day, treat yourself with kindness, full of love. You really don’t have to depend on your happiness on anyone,” Barbie emphasized.
This was not the first time that Barbie gave herself a moment and give that self-love. Back in January this year, the Kapuso star shared a post on TikTok showcasing her solo trip to a cafe with South Korean vibes. She enjoyed her time reading a book while drinking her coffee.
Meanwhile, early this month, Barbie Forteza said that she is ready to love again. She is open to meeting someone who could be her special someone.
