Mond Gutierrez spoke about Richard Gutierrez as a father to his sons
Showbiz personality Mond Gutierrez defended his twin brother, actor Richard Gutierrez, against the recent statement of actress Sarah Lahbati.
Richard and Sarah’s breakup was confirmed in 2024. They are currently in the process of their annulment. In a recent interview on Kylie Verzosa’s video podcast Almost Honest, Sarah shared something about being a single mother.
The actress said that she wanted to make sure that her sons grow up to be kind people. She also said raising them was difficult while going through a legal separation.
Following that interview, Abante entertainment writer Jun Lalin shared what Mond Gutierrez said about this. The twin brother of Richard Gutierrez admitted that he did not watch the whole podcast episode, but he saw some clips on social media.
“Hindi binanggit ang name ni Chard, pero connect the dots,” Mond said. With this, he defended his brother.
“My brother provides for his kids. Period. School, hobbies, travel, clothing, staff and everything else they need. He also said that the kids have equal time with both parents,” he said.
Richard’s brother also stressed that he hoped this would be clarified in the podcast episode.
“The kids split their time equally between both parents. I can’t sit here and watch this and not state facts. I wish this was clarified during this interview,” the brother of Richard Gutierrez said.
Meanwhile, Richard is now in a relationship with Kapamilya actress Barbie Imperial. They became more open about their relationship in recent months, even though they said that they are not hiding, but they are more focused on their privacy.
Barbie also clarified in an interview that she was not the third party in Richard’s breakup with Sarah. She stressed that she entered the frame when Richard and Sarah were no longer together.
