Kris Bernal was bashed because her helper was wearing a uniform
Actress Kris Bernal fired back at her bashers who criticized her after she was seen with her helper wearing a uniform.
Kris is one of the celebrities who is not afraid to answer issues and negative comments on social media. With her years in the entertainment industry, she already had her fair share of controversies and even bashing that she received.
Just recently, Kris was seen with her helper walking on the street. A netizen commented, “Bakit naka-uniform mga yaya mo [?] Dapat pinabihis mo na lang.”
In a TikTok video, Kris Bernal highlighted that comment from a netizen and answered it. The actress explained that before their helpers start working, they would be asked if they want a uniform or not. Kris said that most of their helpers preferred having a uniform, and so they would be given a uniform.
She also said that when they would go out, they would also tell their helpers that they would be leaving, and they had the choice to change or just wear their uniform.
“Ngayon, choice nila ‘yan ‘pag lalabas. Tinatanong din namin sila: ‘Lalabas tayo, gusto mo bang magpalit, ganyan.’ Alam n’yo, ‘di ko alam bakit ayaw nilang magpalit. Puwede naman silang mag-dress, puwede silang mag-spaghetti strap, gusto n’yo mag-tanga pa sila… Ayaw talaga nilang magpalit,” the actress stressed.
Then, Kris slammed those who bashed her for her helpers wearing uniforms. “So ano’ng gusto n’yo, pilitin ko sila? ‘Yong magmakaawa ako, ‘sige na ate, magpalit ka kasi maba-bash ako, aawayin nila ako, magpalit ka parang awa mo na, magpalit ka nang casual…’ Alangan namang ganunin ko pa? Alangang pilitin ko ‘yong tao e ayaw nga nila magpalit?” she said.
The actress also pointed out that it seemed that bashers were just attacking her when other celebrities and other people also have helpers or angels who wear uniforms.
Then, Kris Bernal called one of her helpers, Ate Tina, and asked her to speak about this issue.
Ate Tina said that there is no problem with them if they are wearing a uniform, even if they go out. For her, this saves more time for other things to do.
In the comment section of her post, Kris Bernal received support from her followers. “Mas maganda nga naka uniform Kasi di maaksaya sa damit,” a netizen commented, while the other one said, “Kahit naka uniform. Mahalaga mabait ang AMO.”
