Mavy Legaspi and Ashley Ortega recently shared an unexpected revelation about their biggest fear as a couple, offering fans a glimpse into their personal and professional dynamics. The Hating Kapatid actor revealed that despite their strong relationship, working together on a project was something they initially dreaded.
According to a report by Athena Imperial on Unang Balita, the 25-year-old actor admitted that he and his girlfriend were both nervous about collaborating on the same set.
“Biggest fear namin ‘yun na makatrabaho ang isa’t isa. Dahil alam namin tatawa lang kami at ‘yun din ang nangyari, pero mas naging enjoyable siya. Super naging enjoyable siya dahil siyempre close si Ash sa akin and super naging madali ang trabaho,” he shared. Contrary to their fears, the experience turned out to be smooth and enjoyable, proving that their closeness helped rather than hindered their performance.
Meanwhile, excitement continues to build among viewers of Hating Kapatid, especially regarding the evolving relationship between Belle, portrayed by Cassy Legaspi, and Tally, played by Cheska Fausto. Fans are eager to see whether the two characters will become allies or rivals as the story unfolds. Cassy offered a lighthearted take on their characters’ dynamic, saying, “Alam mo, okay sana e. Best friends sana kami kaso si Roselle kasi e [laughs].”
Despite their on-screen tension, Cassy clarified that there is nothing but harmony behind the scenes. She shared, “On cam, nag-aaway si Belle at si Tally pero off-cam, si Cheska at si Cassy, we’re good.” This off-camera camaraderie reflects the professionalism and strong bond among the cast members.
Adding to the family’s busy year, the Legaspi family also starred in the 2025 Metro Manila Film Festival entry Rekonek. The film received overwhelming support from fans, highlighted by a recent block screening that even included a birthday surprise for the Legaspi twins. Actress Carmina Villarroel expressed her heartfelt gratitude, saying, “Ang sarap sa pakiramdam na nandito sila, ginawa talaga nila ito for the Legaspi family. So we’re very, very thankful.”
