Atong Ang is still not found.
Wealthy businessman Atong Ang remains missing despite 14 locations having already been searched by the authorities.
There’s a PHP 10 million reward for those who can give the right information about the whereabouts of businessman Charlie “Atong” Ang that could lead to his arrest. He is the alleged mastermind behind the missing sabungeros case.

Previously, a Laguna court issued an arrest warrant against the businessman and several others for their alleged involvement in the missing sabungeros case. Shortly after, the second arrest warrant was served against him, ordered by Lipa Regional Trial Court Branch 13.
The Department of Justice (DOJ) said Ang is now considered a fugitive from justice.
Police have searched 14 areas nationwide as authorities intensify their efforts to locate Ang as per the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG). Col. John Guiagui, chief of the CIDG–National Capital Region (CIDG-NCR), relayed that they have received 40 pieces of information that could help determine Ang’s possible whereabouts.
Guiagui said “efforts have been in place already” to verify whether the businessman has fled the country already or not, particularly to Cambodia or Thailand. He said, “Hangga’t wala naman siya sa ibang bansa at andito siya, 100 percent ‘yung [hopes] natin na mahahanap natin siya.”
Despite searching in 14 locations across Metro Manila, Central Luzon, and Calabarzon, authorities haven’t yet found him. These included a home in Pasig City, two properties in Mandaluyong, and a penthouse in Quezon City.
His camp already surrendered five out of his six firearms, and he is still considered armed and dangerous.
“Ang dami niyang bodyguards and associates wanting to protect him. Paano mo mapo-protektahan ang isang tao? You should be armed also. So we still consider him armed and dangerous,” he said.
