Paolo Contis spent the holidays with his “family” in Cebu
Kapuso actor Paolo Contis considered his former wife, Lian Paz, and her now-husband, John Cabahug, as his “family.”
Paolo’s 2025 brought healing and forgiveness. He was able to reconcile with Lian and reconnected with their daughters, Xonia and Xalene. Previously, Paolo shared that John played a big role in the reconciliation that took place between them.
From that, Paolo became more visible in the lives of his daughter and spent more time with them. Based on the article in PEP, the Kapuso actor shared that he spent the holidays in Cebu.
“I was in Cebu after Christmas and went home before New Year para may kasama si Mama din dito sa Manila,” the actor shared.
When he went back to Manila, the actor shared photos from his well-spent holidays with his “family” in Cebu and Manila. “Mahal ko kayong lahat!” he wrote in the caption of his post.
Paolo was asked about the people whom he considers “family” in Cebu. They had that certain bond because of the love they have for their children. “Talagang pamilya ko na sina Lian and John because we are parents. You can call it modern or blended family, basta ang center namin ay ang pagmamahal namin sa mga bata,” the actor said.
Even though this took a while, Paolo believed that the timing was perfect. It was easy for the actor that the reconciliation prevailed, they forgave each other, and he and John Cabahug became friends. He also believes that it is the power from above that will determine when the right time is for everything to be okay.
When asked about his daughter, Summer, with his former partner LJ Reyes, Paolo Contis said that he has been missing the little girl, and that he hopes to see her soon.
