Cesar Montano finally speaks about the issue with his son Diego Loyzaga.
After getting into trouble in the middle of controversy, Actor Cesar Montano finally broke his silence and talks about the feud with his own son actor Diego Loyzaga.
Cesar Montano became the center of the controversy after his son Diego Loyzaga slammed him on social media.
Last week, Diego slammed his own father Cesar Montano on Instagram for accusing him of being a drug addict and that his father rejected him since he was young.
In a recent news report of Manila Bulletin, Montano revealed that he was hurt that his own son decided to slam him on social media.
Montano told the columnist, Shirley Pizarro of the Manila Bulletin, that he is disappointed over his son for attacking him and on how he chose to go about their personal spat.
In an article published by Manila Bulletin, Montano said that he was just trying to protect his own son like any father would.
“I am hurt. But all I did was try and protect him like any father would. He has a problem. There is nothing I want more than to be able to help him. I only want what’s best for him. He is my son. I love him,” Montano was quoted by the Manila Bulletin.
The actor also spoke to Philippine Daily inquirer and said that he just had a misunderstanding with his son. Montano also shared that he would never disrespect and denounce his own father in public for whatever reason.
“Even my late dad never pampered me and didn’t buy me material gifts because we were poor, I am still thankful to him. I never lambasted him for tough life we have. Our struggles made me learn the value of hard work,” the actor told the Inquire.
Diego Loyzaga is the son of Cesar Montano with the actress Teresa Loyzaga. His controversial post on Instagram has already taken down and cannot be viewed after Diego was asked to delete them.
