Angeline Quinto had this memorable experience at their Canada show
Kapamilya singer-actress Angeline Quinto revealed that she received “diamonds” from Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez.
Angeline has come a long way in the entertainment industry. She is now one of the popular singers handled by Star Magic, the talent management company of ABS-CBN.
Over the years, she has been part of the Kapamilya Sunday noontime musical variety show ASAP Natin ‘To, which had some shows in other parts of the country and abroad.
Angeline Quinto was one of the Kapamilya stars who joined the ASAP Vancouver show just recently. In a recent interview on the podcast show of film director Antoinette Jadaone, the singer-actress shared a memorable incident that happened after that show, based on the article in Abante.
“Ang memorable, after ng ‘ASAP Vancouver’, Direk. Pag-uwi namin dito, may isa kasing singer na nagbigay sa akin ng diamond. Hindi ko siya suot ngayon,” she shared.
Angeline did not mention any names, but Direk Tonet guessed the celebrity who gave her the diamonds. However, the director guessed that Regine Velasquez had given the expensive item to Angeline.
“Siguro nakukulitan na siya sa akin kakabati ko. Alam mo, Direk, si Ms. Reg, ang sarap niyang batiin. Ms. Reg, ang ganda naman ng hikaw mo ngayon. Kasi ‘pag pangatlo, pang-apat, makukulitan na siya sa ‘yo. Lagi mo na lang binabati, ‘Heto na nga!’ Gano’n siya,” Angeline enthused.
The singer-actress also shared that this was not the first time that he received a piece of jewelry from the Asia’s Songbird.
“Before po, nabigyan na rin ako ni Ms. Reg ng earrings. Buntis pa siya no’n kay Nate. Nag-guest po siya sa first major concert ko. So ‘yun ang binigay niya. Alam mo si Ms. Reg, iaabot niya sa ‘yo, pero akala mo ang inabot, listahan lang ng utang,” Angeline recalled.
She admitted that she is a big fan of Regine, and she had posters of the Songbird in her room when she was young.
Meanwhile, Angeline Quinto shared in an interview on the YouTube channel of talent manager-vlogger Ogie Diaz that her biological mother gave her up for adoption for just P10,000.
