Family and Friends to Say Goodbye as Emman Atienza’s Remains Return to the Philippines
EMMAN ATIENZA – Kuya Kim Atienza has announced that his beloved child Emman will be laid to rest in the Philippines, marking a bittersweet homecoming filled with love and remembrance.
Kapuso television host Kim Atienza has confirmed that the remains of his late child, Emman Atienza, will be flown back to the Philippines for the wake and final rites.
In an emotional social media post, Kuya Kim extended his family’s heartfelt thanks to everyone who has offered sympathy, prayers, and messages of comfort amid their grief. The beloved “Trivia Master” also revealed that the wake will be held in Manila, giving relatives and friends the chance to personally pay their respects and say their goodbyes.
“Thank you so much for all the messages of comfort to the family,” Kuya Kim wrote in his caption. “We may not be able to reply but we appreciate you all. Details of the wake in Manila will follow. Emman will be home.”
The family previously announced that Emman passed away in the United States in October at 19 years old. The heartbreaking news deeply saddened fans and loved ones, who continue to flood social media with tributes and words of sympathy for the Atienza family.
Emman’s sister, content creator Eliana Atienza, also shared a moving message online to honor her late brother.
“I miss you, Emman, with everything that I am and will ever be. I see you in the sunlight between the tree canopy and in the endless stars I know must be there, hidden by city lights,” she wrote.
She went on to say, “We were supposed to co-create a better world where our children could play together, and we could laugh knowing we fought and struggled to build this for them. I hope this message reaches you wherever you are. Call me soon, okay?”
As preparations continue to bring Emman home, the Atienza family remains surrounded by love and support from colleagues, friends, and the public.
