SWS Releases Results of Survey in VP Sara Duterte Trust Rating in June 2025

SARA DUTERTE TRUST RATING – The latest Social Weather Station (SWS) survey showed a slight increase in the trust rating of the Vice President from May to June.

Aside from the trust rating of Pres. Bongbong Marcos this June, the Social Weather Station also conducted a survey on the Filipinos’ trust on Vice Pres. Duterte. The SWS survey was commissioned by Stratbase and had 1,200 respondents.

The respondents of the Social Weather Station survey commissioned by Stratbase is composed of 1,200 Filipino adults across the nation. Based on a report on GMA News, the survey was conducted from June 25 to 29.

The 1,200 respondents of the SWS survey commissioned by Stratbase were asked to evaluate their level of trust in key government officials including the president and the vice president. They were given five (5) options.

Based on the report, the respondents of the Social Weather Station (SWS) survey were given the following options in assessing their trust to key government officials:

  • very much
  • somewhat much
  • undecided if much or little
  • somewhat little
  • very little

Based on the report, Vice Pres. Sara Duterte trust rating in June as per the SWS survey commissioned by Stratbase had a slight increase of 1 percentage point. It rose from 60% in May to 61% in June.

Despite the slight increase in Vice Pres. Sara Duterte trust rating, her percentage points remains higher than the 48% trust rating of Pres. Bongbong Marcos. According to the report, 23% of the respondents had little trust on Duterte while 14% were undecided.

Recently, Vice Pres. Sara Duterte has been to several overseas trips. After the 2025 Midterm Elections, she went to Doha, Qatar then to The Hague, Netherlands. She also went to Malaysia and Australia. She’s been to four countries in less than a month and it did not sit well with some people.

Vice Pres. Duterte claimed that she is spending her own money in her personal trips but she continues to work. She refused to expose the details of her trip amid the call of Malacañang that she needs to report her work.

On her confidential funds issue, Vice Pres. Sara Duterte said she will answer questions publicly if there will be no trial.
