People who don’t believe in marriage hold various reasons. It could be personal or philosophical, but for content creator Zeinab Harake, it was more about not wanting to be dictated by the people around her. When it comes to marriage, she wanted it to be something wanted and desired by two people.
Previously, Zeinab and Ray Parks Jr. tied the knot in an intimate and lavish wedding. World-class Filipino fashion designer Michael Cinco created Harake’s wedding gown and the groom’s suit, and everything about their wedding was just made to perfection.

They tied the knot on June 1 in the Crystal Palace of Aquila in the Sky.
Zeinab doesn’t believe in marriage at first, but what changed this? According to her, early on in their relationship, this perspective was something Parks saw as a red flag in her. They were already four months into their relationship when he found out about this.
He shared, “Sabi ko ‘do you believe in marriage?’, tapos ‘yun nga sabi mo hindi ka naniniwala, so sabi ko ‘ano pang ginagawa natin dito?’”
This question has hit Zeinab hard. It changed everything, and going with him to church helped a lot as well in this transformation. She said, “Nung nakikita ko nag-chu-church kami tapos sinasabihan kami ng pastor na guidance niya, sana dumating ‘yung time na proper ‘yung pagsasama niya.”
After they got married, things remained the same in their setup, but what changed was how she felt being with him in public. She has become more confident when she is out and about with him.
