Fundraisers scooped P383M of presidential candidate Jejomar C. Binay from secret donors.
Presidential candidate Jejomar C. Binay and The United Nationalist Alliance had submitted separately the list of Fundraisers to the Commission on Elections (Comelec).
The documents showed that Germelina I. Taylor, Wilbert T. Lee, Danilo E. Suarez, and Teddie E. Rivera were among the 10 biggest donors.
According to a recent news report of ABS-CBN news, During Binay’s Presidential run last May 2016 election, Taylor, Lee, Suarez, and Rivera were among 24 fundraisers who are with Binay.
Vice President Jejomar Binay ran the third most expensive presidential campaign at the total of P463.4 million. He also  had the largest number of contributors in a total of 280.

According to a report, the number of the contributors could even be higher if then-presidential candidate Jejomar C. Binay had listed all his actual donors and not the names of his fundraising-activity organizers.
Binay kept the identities of his actual donors and used the names of these fundraisers to account for 80 percent or P382.8 million of his P463.4-million campaign fund.

Furthermore, Statement of Contributions and Expenditures (SOCE) filed by Binay to the COMELEC, shows the total of donations from a law office and 23 persons who all acted as his “fundraising activity organizer with P382.8 million.
The United Nationalist Alliance or UNA, Binay’s party, also submitted documents separately to Comelec the names of the fundraising organizers.
The documents say that the organizers collected 70 percent of the total contributions the party obtained during the campaign.
Mazna Lutchavez, Attorney IV at the Comelec CFO, confirmed that the fundraisers of Binay and UNA reported appear to be existing persons, as evidenced by acknowledgment receipts and other details provided by the candidate and his party in their SOCEs.
