Presumptive Senator Bam Aquino Credits Election Win to Youth

BAM AQUINO – The returning Senator admitted that the results of the 2025 Senatorial Election which he ranked second is “unexpected” for him.

Based on the media server of the Commission on Elections (COMELEC), 99.12% of the election returns has already been transmitted. Currently, 56,962,688 out of 69,773,653 are already in. The partial and unofficial results of the election already show some of the “sure win” presumptive senators.

Former Sen. Bam Aquino ranked second in the partial and unofficial results of the Senatorial Election. Countless Filipinos rejoiced over his victory. Former Vice President Leni Robredo who campaigned for former senators Bam Aquino and Kiko Pangilinan is also very happy.

Both Kiko and Bam made it to the Top 12. The Kakampinks across the nation rejoiced. For his election win, the principal sponsor of the Free Tuition Law admitted that he did not expect it.

Based on a report on PhilStar, former Sen. Bam Aquino, in a phone interview, admitted that his win in the 2025 Senatorial Election is “totally unexpected” but he takes it. He credited his victory to the youth.

“We are overwhelmed and surprised… They [youth] didn’t only vote for me, they campaigned heavily [for me],” he said.

Based on the report, presumptive Sen. Bam Aquino who ranked second in the partial and unofficial results of the 2025 Senatorial Election only placed second in one informal survey conducted in Ateneo University. It was a Mock Election wherein he ranked second to presumptive Sen. Kiko Pangilinan.

When asked who was the first person he expressed his gratitude to after realizing that he is winning in the 2025 Elections, Bam cited his mother, Melanie. The presumptive senator called his mother his “best campaigner”. He went around the country to help her son in the campaign and she would usually do it introducing herself as Bam’s mother as she gives away leaflets and asks the people to vote for her son.

Based on the report, presumptive senator Bam Aquino’s father, Paul, is the youngest brother of the late former Sen. Ninoy Aquino. According to him, his parents are both achievers in their own way and, growing up, he was never pressured. Instead, striving hard and doing good in school were valued in their household.

It’s Showtime host Vice Ganda is one of the many celebrities who campaigned for presumptive Sen. Bam Aquino. He personally went to the set of the noontime variety show to express his gratitude to the Unkabogable Star.
