Remains of NAIA Crash Victims Brought Home to Bulacan and Batangas
The remains of the two NAIA crash victims who died in the tragic accident have been brought to their respective homes in Bulacan and Batangas.
The victims, a 28-year-old man and a 5-year-old girl, were first taken to Veronica Funeral Home in Pasay City for proper preparation before being transported to their families. The Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) assisted with the arrangements for the child, as both her parents are overseas Filipino workers.
The young girl was only at the airport to see her father off. He was about to leave for the Czech Republic for work when the accident happened. According to her family, the child’s mother, who was also injured in the incident, has undergone surgery for abdominal injuries.

The woman is now recovering along with her mother-in-law, who was also hurt during the crash.
Out of respect for their grief, the families have chosen to stay away from media interviews for now. The 28-year-old man’s remains are currently in Hagonoy, Bulacan, where he is being laid to rest.

As for the case, authorities are still investigating. The NAIA Police reported that the results of the medical examination for the 47-year-old SUV driver involved in the accident will be released on Monday, May 5, 2025.
The driver underwent both alcohol and drug tests and will be facing inquest proceedings at the Pasay Prosecutor’s Office.
The suspect may be charged with reckless imprudence resulting in two counts of homicide, multiple physical injuries, and property damage. The driver is currently under the custody of NAIA Police.
