Ashley Ortega was asked about the parents of her boyfriend
Kapuso actress Ashley Ortega shared the treatment she received from her boyfriend actor-host Mavy Legaspi’s mom actress-host Carmina Villarroel.
Ashley and Mavy stirred the showbiz circle when their sweet photos circulated online. Eventually, Ashley confirmed in an interview that she and Mavy are now a couple.
Previously, the actress was also asked about Mavy’s parents. She said that celebrity couple Carmina Villarroel and Zoren Legaspi are “mabait.”
Ashley Ortega shared that she already worked with the Legaspi couple before she and Mavy Legaspi became a couple. She and Carmina worked together in the drama series Widows’ Web while Zoren played her father in the series Sahaya.
Based on the article in PEP, Ashley shared that when she went out of the Pinoy Big Brother house, Carmina sent a message to her which said, “Hi, Ash, welcome to the outside world. I’m so proud of you for being a strong woman. Visit ka naman soon.”
Ashley and her PBB partner Kapamilya actress-dancer AC Bonifacio were the duo who was first eliminated in PBB Celebrity Collab Edition, in which Mavy is one of the hosts.
The Kapuso actress was already able to visit Mavy’s house and have dinner with his parents. “And they’re just very welcoming. Sinabi rin sa akin ni Mavy na they would always watch PBB to support me. Sabi rin ni Mavy na they got to appreciate me more, mas nakilala nila ako while watching PBB,” she shared.
Ashley also shared that she felt the love from Carmina when the seasoned actress hugged her after getting out of the PBB house. Even Mavy’s twin sister Cassy Legaspi messaged her after her stint on the reality show.
Ashley Ortega also shared that Mavy Legaspi was so very supportive of her PBB stint, especially when she was evicted. After the eviction episode, Ashley had the chance to talk to Mavy and poured out her emotions. For 40 minutes she was crying and her boyfriend was just there for her.
