Pilot of Crashed FA-50 Fighter Jet, Fiancée Just 11 Days Away from their Wedding when Tragedy Struck
FIANCEE OF AIR FORCE PILOT – Philippine Air Force First Lieutenant Alyssa Columbino paid tribute to Lt. April John “AJ” Dadulla, one of the pilots who died in a fighter jet crash in Bukidnon.
Last Tuesday, countless people were left saddened when the Philippine Air Force revealed in a statement that it was conducting search operations after a fighter jet went missing during its Tactical Night Operation exercise. The PH Air Force fighter jet that went missing was an FA-50.

According to the Philippine Air Force, the other aircrafts that participated in the Tactical Night Operation repeatedly tried to re-establish communication with the missing fighter jet until their return to Mactan, Cebu. PAF assured that they utilized all available resources to locate the aircraft and its crew.
Unfortunately, the missing FA-50 fighter jet has crashed in the mountain of Bukidnon province. The wreckage of the aircraft and the bodies of its pilots were found in Mount Kalatungan, the 5th tallest mountain in the Philippines.

Countless people were left heartbroken over the untimely demise of two (2) people during an operation where they served as close air support provider to ground troops conducting an operation against the NPA (New People’s Army). One of the pilots of the crashed Air Force fighter jet has set a wedding with his fiancee this March.

Philippine Air Force Lieutenant April John “AJ” Dadulla and First Lieutenant Alyssa Columbino, the fiancée of the Air Force pilot who died in the fighter jet crash in Bukidnon, were supposed to get married this March 15. They were just 11 days away from their wedding when the unfortunate incident happened.
Dadulla and Columbino met in the PAF. It was in 2019 when the pilot hailed from Manolo Fortich in Bukidnon entered the Air Force. He’s 29 at the time of his death.
On social media, Alyssa Columbino posted a tribute for his fiancé through a post. The fiancée of Air Force pilot who died in the fighter jet crash in Bukidnon penned a sweet message for AJ Dadulla.
“I am so proud of you, my love. You will always be in my heart. I love you and til we meet again, love,” the fiancée of Air Force pilot wrote.



Pres. Bongbong Marcos ordered an immediate investigation of the FA-50 fighter jet crash.
