Kim Chiu and Paulo Avelino enjoy working with each other
Kapamilya actress Kim Chiu is different from the past leading ladies of actor Paulo Avelino and here is the reason.
Kim and Paulo’s tandem surprisingly received a warm welcome from the viewers when they first worked together in the series Linlang. Because of that successful first onscreen partnership, they were given another project, the series What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim?
This was followed with another project, their first movie together, My Love Will Make You Disappear. In a recent interview, Kim and Paulo shared why they enjoy working with each other.
Paulo shared that with his past leading ladies, they only worked once or twice but with Kim, they had a third project. “Now that I think about it, never lumampas nang dalawang beses ang pakikipagtrabaho ko with my leading ladies sa series and movies,” the actor said.
Paulo gave a reason behind this. “Siguro ‘yung sagot ko diyan ay hindi nakakasawa katrabaho si Kim,” he said. He added that there are a lot of reasons, and one of them was they haven’t worked together yet in a movie until now, and it is a rom-com.
The actor said that he has not done a rom-com genre before. Paulo cited the last reasom as “si Kim, madaling katrabaho.”
Kim Chiu noted that Paulo Avelino has a different take on his character. She also mentioned that the actor has a good comedic timing. Kim added that there is always something new every time she works with Paulo.
When it comes to the topic of not giving up on love, Kim said that love cannot be bought and given, it is an experience that can give a lot of emotions. With this, she said that one should not give up on love.
