2024 MMFF Best Actor Dennis Trillo Recalls First Movie Award

DENNIS TRILLO – The Kapuso actor took to social media a throwback photo of his first Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) award in 2004.

The official entries of the Metro Manila Film Festival usually never fail to gather the crowd in cinemas. There are ten (10) official entries in this year’s MMFF which is the 50th year of the prestigious film festival.

Amid the showing of the Metro Manila Film Festival entries, the award-giving body holds the Gabi ng Parangal. There are many MMFF awards that are being given out to the winners and Kapuso actor Dennis Trillo was one of the awardees.

Kapuso actor Dennis Trillo was awarded as the Best Actor in this year’s MMFF for his portrayal of his role in the film Green Bones. The Best Supporting Actor was won by his Green Bones co-star Ruru Madrid.

It is not Dennis’ first time to win an MMFF award. Way back in 2024, the Kapuso star got his first Metro Manila Film Festival award which was also his very first movie award for his portrayal of his role in the movie Aishite Imasu 1941 directed by Joel Lamangan.
