From being a beauty competition, it is undeniable that Miss Universe has evolved with time as it is now a global platform where advocacy and cultural expression are highlighted.
For this year, Miss Universe Philippines 2024 Chelsea Manalo will be representing the country. The coronation night will be held at Arena CDMX in Mexico City. This is November 17, 10 AM in Philippine time.
In this year’s competition, Missosology released their top picks and at present, they now have three sets. In the first set, the Philippines is in the 10th spot, in the 18th spot for the second set, and for the latest set, she on the 10th spot.
The first top picks are Thailand, Peru, Venezuela, Denmark, Dominican Republic, Vietnam, India, Spain, USA, Philippines, Netherlands, Jamaica, Mexico, Puerto Rico, New Zealand, Brazil, Curaçao, Egypt, Myanmar, and Panama. This was released on October 18, 2024, which was roughly a month ahead of the coronation night.
For the second set of Top Picks dated November 4, 2024, the candidates are Puerto Rico, Nigeria, Thailand, Paraguay, Finland, France, Ecuador, Malaysia, Venezuela, Peru, Mexico, Zimbabwe, Chile, India, Brazil, Dominican Republic, Spain, Philippines, Romania, Myanmar, Albania, Colombia, Portugal, Bahrain, Cambodia, US Virgin Islands, Slovakia, Russia, Estonia, and Jamaica.
