Bayambang Mayor Niña Jose broke her silence on the controversial and viral issues about her on social media.

Niña was known as part of the first teen season of the Kapamilya reality show Pinoy Big Brother. After spending several years in the entertainment industry, she decided to leave showbiz.

Eventually, she got married to former Bayambang Mayor Cesar Quiambao. With their more than 4o years of age gap, she received judgment. In a recent interview, on the YouTube channel of talent manager-vlogger Ogie Diaz, the actress-turned-politician shared that she was accused of being a gold-digger, insincere, and insensitive.

In the interview, Niña Jose shared how her love story with her husband started and the challenges that they went through before they got married.

It is known to many netizens that the Bayambang Mayor has become a trending topic on social media many times because of her social media posts that went viral. Ogie asked her about the viral issues during the interview.

There was a time when she posted about “itchy girls.” She shared that she pitied her husband because people thought it was about him. “It’s just reality, may mga itchy girls talaga,” she said, adding that it was not about her husband.

Niña shared that regarding the “mabahong mic” issue, there was a person who had ill intentions against her who edited the video and made her look like she was degrading people. That person already apologized to her and she decided to forgive with the hope that the person was sincere.

When it comes it comes to her supposed “insensitive” post about the power outage in Bayambang during typhoon Kristine, the Mayor said that she meant nothing bad about that and that was specifically intended for the people of Bayambang. For her, there was nothing wrong with her post but she just decided to delete that to avoid negativity.

Niña Jose also admitted that she is “maarte” and tactless sometimes but it does not mean that she is acting like she is above other people. She also stressed that with her husband’s leadership which she continued, their town has been sowing the fruit of the projects that they continue to do for the people.
