ABS-CBN actress Kim Chiu earns Best Actress In A Leading Role nomination from Asian Television Awards 2024.
One of the most in-demand actresses from the country’s leading content provider ABS-CBN is Kim Chiu whose career continued to soar up until now. Now, collecting more and more awards and recognitions, another one was added to her list.
Previously, Kim was in Taiwan for 2024 ContentAsia Awards. She was one of the nominees for the Best Female Lead in a TV Programme/Series award for her role in “Linlang”. Although she did not win the award, the nomination alone is something to be proud of.
The ABS-CBN actress has been named the Outstanding Asian Star at the Seoul International Drama Awards 2024 as well. This was held at the KBS Hall in Yeouido, Seoul. She wore a blush-pink gown by Filipino fashion designer Francis Libiran for this event.
In the 2024 Asian Academy Creative Awards, Kim and Paulo Avelino’s “What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim” series was recognized in the Best Adaptation of an Existing Format (Scripted) category of the said award-giving body.
Following these, the latest is her nomination from the Asian Television Awards 2024 in the Best Actress In A Leading Role category. She was recognized because of her role in “What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim”.
She is competing against other Asian actresses such as Robyn Malcolm from Australia, Selena Lee and Charmaine Sheh of Hong Kong, and Zhou Xun, Wu Jin-Yan, Ma Sichun, and Xu Fan from China.
