ISKO MORENO’S SON – Young actor Joaquin Domagoso filed his candidacy for councilor in Manila where his father is running for mayor.

Undeniably, nowadays, several celebrities in the Philippine showbiz industry have decided to join politics. One of them is young actor Joaquin Domagoso who has starred in several projects under the GMA network.

Joaquin was part of the hit Kapuso television series My First Yaya. He starred as the on-screen partner of Zoren and Carmina Villarroel Legaspi’s daughter, Cassy Legaspi.

It is no secret to the public that Joaquin, former Manila Mayor Isko Moreno’s son, is already a father. It was at the peak of the 2022 Elections campaign period where his father ran for the presidency when his girlfriend gave birth to their son, Scott Angelo.

Actor-politician Isko Moreno who has served as the mayor of Manila for several years lost in the 2022 Presidential Elections. He and his running-mate, Doc Willie Ong who is battling cancer now, placed 4th in the presidential and vice presidential elections.

Meanwhile, both Moreno and Ong are running in the upcoming May 2025 Midterm Elections. Isko Moreno is seeking for a mayoralty comeback in Manila while Ong who is currently in Singapore is running for senator next year. His wife, Doc Liza Ong, was the one who filed his Certificate of Candidacy (CoC) for him.

Not only former Manila Mayor Isko Moreno is running in the next elections. Isko Moreno’s son, Joaquin, is also seeking for a seat in the council of Manila based on a report on GMA News.

Moreno will be challenging the re-election of now Manila Mayor Honey Lacuña, his former vice mayor and ally. In the next election, the actor-politician’s running mate is Chi Atienza.
