Barbie Imperial reminded the public not to engage in content full of negativity
Kapamilya actress Barbie Imperial shared a post about negativity on social media and reminded the public not to engage in “paninira.”
When Barbie’s photo taken in Italy circulated on social media, rumors started circulating that she was no longer part of the Kapamilya series led by primetime action king Coco Martin.
Based on the photos that surfaced online, Barbie was with actor Richard Gutierrez who she is dating right now.
As Barbie Imperial was seen out of the country, this prompted speculations that her character Tisay in Batang Quiapo was terminated. Speculations also surfaced about the alleged reason why she was no longer part of the series.
However, ABS-CBN recently released a statement debunking the speculations that Barbie was removed from Batang Quiapo. The network also stressed that the actress is in communication with Coco Martin, as well as, the production. It also said that the actress is still committed to doing her stint in the Kapamilya series.
It is also known to many that the actress received negative comments when she and Richard started dating. The actor is Sarah Lahbati’s estranged husband. After it was confirmed that they were dating, the two celebrities became more visible on social media, just like their photos together in a restaurant.
Following this issue, Barbie shared a post on her Facebook page about negativity in social media content.
Barbie said that there are a lot of pages now that post negativity and the worst thing is that these are lies just to get high numbers of engagement.
“Nagegets ko naman na kailangan kumita ng pera pero sana sa paraang hindi mag sisinungaling,” the actress stressed. She also reminded the public not to engage with these posts that would just make the creators rich.
“Nakakalungkot kasi paninira na ang strategy ng marketing ngayon, at ang daming naniniwala withoug fact checking,” Barbie Imperial said.
