This is what Cassandra Ong said when asked about her hair.
24-year-old linked to the Bamban, Porac POGOs Cassandra answers the issue that was ignited because of her hairstyle.
To lighten up the House quad-committee hearing on Thursday, panel’s co-chairperson Rep. Dan Fernandez diverted the probe from questionable bank accounts to the hairstyle of Cassandra Ong that caught attention online. Fernandez asked her which prompted her to answer right there and then.
“Kasi the last time, hindi ganiyan ang kulay ng buhok mo, at hindi ganiyang curly,” asked Fernandez.
In a response, Ong explained, “Mr. Chair ganito pa rin ang kulay ng buhok ko since (the last time) tapos yung kulot po is DIY, tinrintas.”
She expressed that her hair remains the same and the curly effects are just the result of braiding. Joking, Fernandez responded, “Baka mamaya meron na kaming salon dito sa aming H.O.R. detention facility.”
A House of Representatives official has clarified previously that Ong has not received any visit from a hairdresser while in detention. The people who visited her were the ones from her legal team and a friend who came last September 14 to bring her clothing and other personal necessities.
