Iconic boy group in the ’90s “Streetboys” are reuniting in a concert as announced by Vhong Navarro and here are some details.
In 1993, a boy group known for their acrobatic dance moves rose to popularity and eventually became an icon. This group is called the “Streetboys” and they are composed of young hopefuls who dreamed of making it big in the industry through dancing. Lo and behold, the efforts paid off.
From a struggling group to being the icon from the ’90s that is admired up until now.
They were discovered by film and television director Chito Roño at Equinox disco in 1993. At that time, Universal Motion Dancers (UMD) and the Manoeuvres got many girls screaming like crazy with their cool moves, and soon after, the Streetboys made their way to get their chunk of screaming girls.
They popularized several dance hits like “Lick it,” “Friends,” “The Sign,” “MMMbop,” “Arikingking king,” “Macarena,” “Ragamuffin girl,” “Feel Like Dance,” “Beautiful Life,” “Ecstacy Extano,” “On Ne S’Aimera Plus Jamais,” and many others.
This year, the ’90s group are reuniting for a concert and many are excited!
In an Instagram post, member Vhong Navarro confirmed this reunion concert. Accordingly, this will be held at the New Frontier Theater on November 8. Ticket selling will start on September 17.
For this concert, those who are abroad will be flying in to join the reunion like Spencer Reyes and Michael Sesmundo who are in London, Joseph De Leon in Dubai, and Sherwin Roux in Canada.

Apart from Navarro, the other members are Jhong Hilario, Spencer Reyes, Maynard Marcellano, Joey Andres, Chris Cruz, Michael Sesmundo, Joseph de Leon, and Nicko Manalo.
Originally, the Streetboys had nine members, but through the years, members come and go, old and new ones came but the legacy continued.
