Amid Claims Quiboloy has Left KOJC Compound, PNP Continues Digging for “Bunker”
PNP – The Philippine National Police believes that Pastor Apollo Quiboloy is still at the KOJC compound allegedly laughing at them.
The Philippine National Police is on their 11th day of intensified search for Pastor Apollo Quiboloy inside the compound of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ. The police authorities digged amid a belief of a “bunker” where the Pastor may be hiding.
Pastor Quiboloy is faced with accusations not just in the Philippines but as well as in the United States of America. According to the Philippine National Police, their radar detected a human heartbeat underground. They also insisted that their search operations are legal.
Previously, Apollo Quiboloy’s lawyer claimed that the Pastor is no longer inside the KOJC compound. According to Attorney Israelito Torreon who is also spokesperson of the KOJC, he believes the Pastor has left the compound last March.
Vice President Sara Duterte also joked that Pastor Quiboloy is in heaven already. According to the Vice President, Quiboloy may no longer be in Davao City as there was enough time for him to leave the place amid the hearings of the authorities.
Duterte and her family, most especially former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte, are close to the Pastor. He even gifted the former President a house in Davao City.
Vice Pres. Duterte even apologized to the KOJC members for seeking their support for Pres. Bongbong Marcos in the Elections 2022. The intensified search for Quiboloy which involved drilling ops happened under the Marcos administration.
Amid the belief and claims of Vice Pres. Duterte and Atty. Torreon that the Pastor is no longer in the KOJC compound, the PNP believes that Apollo Quiboloy is still inside the compound. Based on a report on GMA News, PRO-11 Director, Brigadier General Nicolas Torre III said that the Pastor is just laughing at them but time will come that he will be arrested by the authorities.
“Naniniwala kaming nandyan siya… tinatawanan kami… sige lang, there is
always time for everything at darating ‘yan… sabi ko nga, mahuhuli rin
natin yan,” Torre said.
Based on the report, the PRO-11 Director Brigadier General also challenged Atty. Torreon to prove his claim that the PNP has dug 8 meters deep already and it might affect the stability of the JMC building.
The lawyer is calling on Philippine National Police chief General Rommel Marbil to allow them to enter the basement to see the excavation. Previously, the camp of Quiboloy said that he has a condition with Pres. Bongbong Marcos over his surrender.
