Is Jodi Sta Maria vengeful?
Kapamilya actress Jodi Sta Maria has this answer when asked about the best form of revenge, in line with the story of her new TV series Lavender Fields.
Jodi and other cast members of the new Kapamilya series were recently introduced to the public, such as Jericho Rosales, Janine Gutierrez, and many more. In the series, Jodi played the character of Jasmine, who later on became Lavender Fields, and wanted to avenge the tragedy brought to her by Janine’s character.
In a recent interview for the show’s portion, based on the article in Inquirer, the main characters of the series were asked if they consider themselves vengeful.
Jodi Sta Maria said that the best form of revenge for her is to stay silent when someone likes to enrage her. “Wag mong ibigay ang gusto nila. Wag kang lumevel sa kung nasaan sila,” the actress said.
She added that it is important to always choose the higher road and to be the bigger person.
Janine Gutierrez echoed what her fellow actress said about revenge. She said that self-healing is the best revenge for her. “The best form of revenge is when you don’t need revenge anymore,” she said, adding that you are already okay with yourself and that you have overcome the negative thing that was done to you and you don’t need to look back to that person who has done wrong to you.
For Jericho Rosales, revenge is not really his thing as he does not like taking revenge. He jokingly said that if he took revenge, he jokingly said that he will swallow the person and will become a dinosaur.
In a serious tone, the actor said that the best revenge is not letting negative things overpower him but instead using this to be a better person.
