GMA independent contractor Jojo Nones received support from his longtime partner amid his issue with Sparkle artist Sandro Muhlach.
Sandro accused Jojo and another contractor Richard “Dode” Cruz of abusing him after the GMA Gala 2024. The 23-year-old actor filed r@pe complaints against the two contractors.
Jojo is currently detained at the Senate detention center after he was cited in contempt by Senator Jinggoy Estrada during the Committee on Public Information and Mass Media Senate hearing.
Based on the article in PEP, Jojo Nones will remain in the detention center if he will not speak the truth about what happened in their hotel room after they invited Sandro Muhlach. In the detention center, Jojo is allowed to have his visitors and use his cellular phone.
Amid the accusation against Jojo and Richard, their families are also suffering the pain from the criticism online.
Jojo’s longtime partner Ryan Benitez shared a post on social media appealing to the public to be mindful of what they say online. They had been together for twenty years now and Ryan said he knew what Jojo can do and cannot do.
Ryan also said that even though Jojoi is not perfect, people who know him can see the goodness in him.
“I know what he’s capable of and what he’s not. He’s far from perfect, but I’m certain that the people who truly know Jojo have experienced the love and light in his heart,” Jojo’s partner said.
Ryan also asked the public to be compassionate amid the issue, avoid judging Jojo and Richard easily, and let the wheels of justice run their course. He also said that amid the negative comments, people should remember that Jojo Nones and Richard Cruz are also human and they have loved ones who also get hurt by the negativity.
