Sen. Bong Revilla Speaks on Sandro Muhlach’s Complaint vs. GMA-7 Contractors
BONG REVILLA – The Senator claimed that he saw Sandro Muhlach the next day after the alleged incident happened.
The attention of the Senate was hooked by the complaint filed by Sandro Muhlach, the eldest son of Niño Muhlach, against two (2) independent contractors of GMA-7. The contractors were identified as Jojo Nones and Richard “Dode” Cruz.
Prior to Sandro filing a complaint against the 2 contractors of GMA-7 before the NBI (National Bureau of Investigation), rumors that a talent of Sparkle was taken advantage of by two (2) executives of the Kapuso network broke out.
The rumors turned into allegations after the son of Niño Muhlach formally filed a complaint against Nones and Cruz. It gathered different reactions from the public. The Senate called the people involve for a hearing.
In the first Senate hearing over the issue, the 2 independent contractors of GMA-7 were absent. Sandro also did not attend the hearing but Niño Muhlach appeared at the inquiry. An executive of the Kapuso network also attended the hearing.
Niño Muhlach cried while recalling the alleged ordeal of his eldest son, Sandro. He claimed that his son was shaking while he was telling him what was allegedly done to him. According to him, he can forgive Nones and Cruz but they will have to pay for what they allegedly did to his son.
In the recent Senate hearing, Jojo Nones and Dode Cruz were already present and Sen. Bong Revilla claimed that he personally saw Sandro a day after the alleged incident happened. The lawmaker visibly believes the claims of the son of Niño based on what he personally saw.
“I saw him personally the next day. The guy is really shaking. Masyadong apektado siya,” Revilla said.
Sen. Bong Revilla knows Jojo Nones based on an article on Pep. Nones was the creative consultant of the comedy-action series starred by the actor-politician entitled Walang Matigas na Pulis Sa Matinik na Misis.
The Senator stressed that Sandro was really traumatized. He stressed that also knows Jojo as they worked together in a project but he will stand by what is right. Niño was also part of the said action-comedy series.
“Talagang na-trauma yung bata, e… Personally, nakita ng dalawang mata ko,” he said.
At the Senate hearing, Niño Muhlach exposed the text conversation between Sandro and one of the GMA-7 contractors.
