Is it true that Claudine Barretto and Janelle Jamer are BFF no more?
Optimum Star Claudine Barretto and former TV host Janelle Jamer shared intriguing posts that garnered speculations about the status of their friendship.
Janelle is one of the closest friends of Claudine in the entertainment industry. The latter had several social media posts in the past for her BFF. However, in a recent Instagram post, the Optimum Star appeared to have hinted at their falling out.
Claudine shared a quote card with two versions of captions, based on the article in PEP. The quote stated, “People who stay friends with your abusers aren’t your friends. Knowing what the abuser did to you and yet choosing to maintain a bond with them is a clear sign of lack of loyalty.”
Claudine Barretto’s first caption was directed to a person who considered BFF. However, that person, the actress said is doing something bad that affect her children and her fans, The Claudinians. She also called that person “plastic.”
Despite what the person allegedly did to her, she still that person well. However, Claudine said that her former BFF will not dragged into this matter her other friends.
In her second caption, Claudine was apparently saying that her post is about not just one friend. She said that it is bad thing that a third person, someone who is outside was making an effort to destroy her connection with a friend.
Janelle Jamer also had intriguing posts about losing connection someone and that her name is being brought down because of a misunderstanding.
In an interview with PEP, Janelle admitted that her friendship with Claudine is currently going through a challenging time. She said that as of the moment, she does not know where their friendship will go.
When asked about the netizens’ speculations that Claudine Barretto is now having a conflict with her and Tia Perfecto, Janelle Jamer said, “May katotohanan na may pinagdadaanan. Pero kung magbe-base ako sa sinabi niya na kinawawa na ginawa sa anak niya at mga fans niya, hindi ako guilty run.”
Janelle also stressed that her conscience is clear when it comes to this. She added that she did not react on the day Claudine shared that post she wanted her emotions to subside first before reacting.
