In an interview, Carlos Yulo no longer wants to comment about his family problems.
The Golden Boy Carlos Yulo was asked about his mother’s press conference and this is what he said about it.
Amid the Olympics victories of two-time Olympian gold medalist Carlos Yulo are the issues surrounding him because of his relationship with his mother. He admitted that the conflict between them was due to his girlfriend Chloe Anjeleigh San Jose.
He did not dive into details anymore about the conflict. In the video where he reacted to the issues, he pointed out some incidents before regarding his money and at the same time, he defended his girlfriend. The video was made to put an end to the issues. Following the video, his mother Angelica Yulo had a presscon and in the same event, she apologized.
In an interview with Mel Tiangco, he was asked to give any reaction to the presscon and the other issues involving his family but the athlete firmly refused to make any. He stressed that he no longer wants to discuss family issues in public.
As for his mother, he has already forgiven her and with that being said, he did not further his answer.
For now, based on the interview, what he wants is to focus on celebrating Filipino athletes. He expressed how proud he is of all the Filipino athletes and he wanted to celebrate the fruit of their labor. Win or lose, he is proud of everyone.
The Olympian gold medalist received two golds. Yulo’s first gold medal in Paris 2024 was in the men’s floor exercise and in less than after that, he got his second gold at the vault. The sharp landings and the gravity-defying skills he presented that he trained for years finally paid off.
The Olympics is not over yet but his well-deserved incentives worth millions await him. Apart from that, he will also be receiving a hero’s welcome for bringing this terrific history in PH sports come to life.
