Lea has been the pride of the Philippines in the field of theater, aside from the fact that she was the singing voice of two Disney princesses, Jasmin and Mulan. She was also the first Filipino to perform at the White House. These two amazing actresses are set to showcase their talents together in a play.

Based on the article in Bandera, Dolly de Leon shared a post about working again with Lea Salonga on her Instagram page. Dolly said that she and Lea met each other during their teens when they were taking jazz classes with the fabulous Aldeguer sisters, Lally and Terry.

Decades after that, they got to collaborate as alternates in a play. For their new project together, Dolly said that they hoped it would shed light on what it’s like to be away from home and our loved ones.
