A content creator from Iloilo has been turning heads with a unique mukbang challenge—eating hollow blocks.
Recently, the mukbang content creator ‘Joker Vlog’ was featured on the GMA Network show AHA!. The vlogger shared that he doesn’t actually eat the items he showcases in his videos. Instead, he performs these challenges purely for content and at the request of his viewers.
Despite the entertaining content, Joker revealed that these stunts can be quite tough. He admitted to hiding his struggles from his family and pretending that he’s handling everything well.
In his own words, Joker Vlog explained that he only chews and then spits out the hollow blocks. This way, he can fulfill the requests from his audience without actually consuming the materials.
“Naisip kong kumain ng hollow blocks dahil may nagrequest sa’kin na kumain daw ako ng hollow blocks, kaya ginawa ko yon. Pero hindi ko naman yon kinain. Nginuya ko lang yon at isinuka ko para content lang, para mapagbigyan ko lang yung nagrerequest sakin na magmukbang daw ako ng hollow blocks,” he said.
The content creator’s confession shows the difficulties he faces behind the scenes, something he keeps hidden from those around him. He also shared that his content creation journey has been far from easy.
Joker Vlog described the process as challenging and full of hardships, which are often not visible to the audience. He emphasized that becoming a successful content creator requires a lot of perseverance and hard work.
