Here’s what Heart Evangelista felt about being Senate Spouses Foundation’s president.
It’s no easy being a leader and in full honesty, Kapuso actress Heart Evangelista admitted this when she was first told to become SPFI’s president.
Last May, actress, model, and fashionista Heart Evangelista started her work as the ew head of the Senate Spouses Foundation Inc. (SSFI). She met with the spouses of other senators and she was given a warm welcome.
Just recently, she sold one of her hand-painted Hermès bags and the proceeds were directly given to SSFI. The bag was sold for Php 1.5 million and all of the proceeds from the sale will be allotted to the future projects of the foundation led by her currently.
It was last June when she took the oath as the new head and Heart’s role as SSFI president is a fulfillment for her. In a recent interview with Boy Abunda, she admitted something regarding her new responsibility.
Initially, she was upset and panicked but after taking it, she eventually learned to love it. She tried to shy away but she loves it so much now. This platform allowed her to do so much for other along with the other spouses of the senators.
“So talaga parang feeling ko I have a purpose. I’m not sure how long I have but I will do my best and I love working,” she said based on the interview.
For now, they continue to do the past projects and make sure that everything is still doing good but as the new head, she would like to introduce something new. She could not disclose anything yet as she wants for people to see her efforts than just hearing it without being materialized.
