Flood Leaves Michael de Mesa Waiting in Cainta, Rizal for 22 Hours

MICHAEL DE MESA – The Kapamilya actor was stranded for 22 hours in Cainta, Rizal due to flood caused by Typhoon Carina.

The wrath of Typhoon Carina which triggered the southwest monsoon or the habagat left several cities and municipalities flooded. The storm brought heavy rains and strong winds and several areas in the country.

In fact, several areas are currently under a State of Calamity after Typhoon Carina struck. The National Capital Region, more popularly called NCR, is one those greatly affected by the natural disaster.

Houses and livelihoods were damaged by Typhoon Carina. Fatalities were also reported by the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC). Countless individuals were left in hassles by the natural calamity and one of them is Michael de Mesa.

Michael de Mesa shared on social media that got stranded for five (5) hours already then due to flood. According to the actor, cars cannot pass through because of the waist-deep flooding. He also stated that his vehicle malfunctioned due to the water that he had to drive through.

It was already night time when Michael posted about it and he has not eaten. He believes that they should have not reported to work yesterday.

However, the waiting for Michael de Mesa did not end in 5 hours or 6 hours. The actor was stranded for at least 17 hours due to flood. According to the actor, he came from the taping before he got stranded in Cainta, Rizal due to flood.

Michael admitted that he’s getting emotional and his anxiety was starting to kick in. The actor also said in his post that the tow truck can’t get through.

In a comment to his post, the partner of Michael, Julie Eigenmann, told the actor that she’s praying for him and he must stay still. Countless family, friends, and followers of the actor also expressed their concern to him.

Just a few minutes ago, Michael de Mesa posted that his car was finally towed after 22 hours of being stuck. He also expressed his gratitude to everyone who extended their assistance, reached out to him, and gave him heartfelt messages. He stressed that he greatly appreciates the kindness and support.
