Opening up about the event, Nadine Samonte cried because of what happened.
Homegrown Kapuso artist Nadine Samonte experienced a saddening incident in the recently-concluded GMA Gala 2024.
The Audrey Hepburn-inspired look of Nadine Samonte at GMA Gala 2024 did not do anything to uplift her spirit when something that hurt her happened. Based on the post of her hairstylist, she got an invitation but her name was not on the guest list.
Samonte’s stylist, Miss Keith slammed GMA for not treating their homegrown talent right. She was snubbed at the event and felt like her efforts went down the drain because of this.
Based on a previous article, Nadine spoke about the GMA Gala 2024 event and expressed that she was saddened. She is not the type to demand a VIP treatment but it would be alright if she received better treatment as influencers who were invited received better treatment compared to what she received.
She was put in a seat with no name on it, her name was removed from the guest list which made her wonder why, and she was at a location near the exit. She was not able to absorb everything and ended her night early.
Nadine went back to her room feeling sad and feeling bad. Last year, she was invited late and did not have enough time to prepare and this year, she was not given a proper seat for her presence.
When she reached her room at the hotel, she was not able to stop her tears and was relieved that her husband did not come with her to the event. She felt displaced and at the comfort room was where she let out her suppressed heavy emotions.
“Narinig ng husband ko and dun ko na naikuwento sa kanya ang totoong nangyari. Galit talaga siya, gusto niyang bumaba. Sabi ko, ‘Okay na yon,'” she shared and added that her husband expressed as well that he did not allow her to return to acting just to be treated that way.
