We were shocked over the split of Maris Racal and Rico Blanco and in an interview, Inigo Pascual shared something about this matter.
The unintentional announcement of Maris Racal that she and Rico Blanco have already broken up happened at an event organized by Star Magic. The public was caught off guard after hearing her confessions.
Maris and Rico’s split shocked many and the actress was speaking all these changes in her life but she did not disclose the real reason why. She was just crying and owning up everything. She is even willing to receive the punches people might give to Rico as she cannot let it happen for her ex-boyfriend is too precious to be bashed.
She was not able to reveal the reason why but she clarified that her love team Anthony Jennings is never the reason for their split. He was out of the picture and as per her words, she is the issue.
Reacting to this was his ex-boyfriend Inigo Pascual. He expressed his sympathies for her. He saw the video, he knows how tough it must have been for her, and he feels for her. But on the lighter side, if there’s one thing he’s seeing positive out of the situation is that she is choosing herself which he is proud of.
He is happy for her for choosing herself to set self-love as her priority and self-improvement. This is not easy but as he himself experienced how difficult it is to learn oneself.
To recall, Racal and Pascual separated in 2018 and while they were in a relationship, he wrote a song for her called “Balang Araw”.
From the breakup of Maris and Rico and from the reaction of Inigo, it may be a hard pill to swallow but really, there’s no shame in choosing yourself. It allows you time to reflect from what have been bothering you and the choices that you made in your life.
