Kathryn Bernardo delivered a mesmerizing performance at this event
Asia’s Superstar Kathryn Bernardo revealed how she prepared for her dance performance during Century Tuna’s Superbods 2024 Awards Night.
The event was held at the Marriott Grand Ballroom in Pasay last week. The Kapamilya actress is one of the brand ambassadors and she surprised the audience when she appeared on stage wearing a revealing red outfit.
Kathryn showcased her dance moves with the famous dance group G-Force led by Teacher Georcelle Dapat-Sy.
In an interview, based on the article in The Philippine Star, Kathryn Bernardo expressed gratitude to the choreographer and the dance group. The actress said that they are patient in teaching her the steps. She also said that she received the support she needed from them.
Kathryn shared that her preparation started a week before the performance but the dance have been preparing for it for a month. However, her body preparation took months.
The actress said that after doing the television commercial for the brand, she maintained her figure with the help of her trainer Mauro Lumba.
Kathryn added that she did many activities and maintained a healthy and balanced diet. She said that she knows what to eat now and she was just rewarding herself, later on. The actress is also thankful to be part of the brand’s campaign to promote self-empowerment and becoming the best version of one’s self.
“And for me, as long as you have awareness and you have the willingness to grow every day, I think that itself is like being the best version of yourself already,” she said.
Kathryn Bernardo also shared that she believes in the “one percent better” concept. She said that it is like getting one percent better everyday with a reminder to herself that she can’t do anything overnight. So, with little progress, a huge difference will be made over time.
When asked if she is currently the best version of herself, the Asia’s Superstar said that she is still a work in progress and she doing her best to be better everyday.
